PEI Beach Goats! Oh, and lobster rolls, and ice cream!

Last day on the island folks! Kim and John need to be at the airport for 5:30, so they have a full day to tour.

John slept in…he sleeps a lot! So Kim headed out for a walk in downtown Charlottetown for a bit of last minute retail therapy. The downtown is filled with old buildings and lots of photo opportunities!

Kim made it back to the air B and B with a couple of more treasures, and they checked out. They decided to go back to their favourite restaurant in the town of Victoria….lobster barn pub and eatery…once again they loved it. The restaurant is owned by local twin sisters, and everything is homemade…

The special…lobster roll of course! With green salad and honey roasted walnuts

Off to the town of Richmond and the beach goats! John and Kim found out about this place when they were at the farmers market last Sunday. And…John loves goats…so off they went. These goats like the water and when it’s a calm day, they paddle board….seriously…they do. The owner started by rescuing 2 goats, and it quickly expanded. This is her first year that she started her business and people have quickly taken up visiting her and the goats. John and Kim said they are just like dogs….hmmmm. I think that means that they are friendly and like people 😉 they also like cookies…which in their case is honeycomb cereal.

Okay folks….time to head to the airport where they will have a one day layover in Toronto. But….a trip to PEI isn’t complete without a final stop in the famous ice cream shop…Cows!
